Quantum is a secret ship from the PSP version of Hudson Selection Vol. 2: Star Soldier. In order to unlock it, the player must time out the boss from the 8th stage while it is on its fighter form.

A modified version of the captured Brain Army attack aircraft. It was created for the purpose of knowing the technology of the enemy army, and it was decided to participate in the operation on a trial basis in order to obtain actual battle data. Since the barrage is set in the lateral direction, it is necessary to make full use of the blaster to attack forward. Only this aircraft does not deform when the barrel is open, and energy is controlled by changing the characteristics of the armor surface.

The Quantum is a captured ship from the enemy fleet. It has good firepower and speed but is tricky to use due to its spread being concentrated on the sides of the ship. Its Burst fires a volley of darts which detonate on contact with enemies, creating explosions which deal continuous damage. Since its Burst Meter fills almost instantly, the player can use the ship's burst continuously.
